Alcohol can increase the risk of accidents

Drinking can impair judgment and coordination, making it more difficult to safely operate a vehicle or complete everyday tasks. This can lead to an increased risk of accidents, including fatal ones. The World Health Organization estimates that almost a quarter of all fatal road accidents are alcohol-related.
