7) Repeat, repeat, repeat
When it comes to training your parrot, repetition is key. Say the same words or phrases over and over again and be sure to reward your parrot for correct responses. Repetition will help your parrot understand what you’re asking them to do and learn new words faster. Of course, don’t forget to vary the words you use; try different tones, inflections, and sentence structures. Make sure you’re consistent and that you reward your parrot each time they say the right word or phrase. With enough repetition, your parrot will start talking in no time!
8) Try different techniques
Vary your teaching methods to keep your Quaker parrot interested. Try using verbal cues, visual cues, and rewards to encourage them to speak. Change up the words you use and the way you say them to help your parrot better understand and retain the language. Be creative and have fun with it!
